Destination

A photographic workshop on the borders of northern Europe in search of the most important large predators of this continent. With a private transfer we will enter the endless dirt roads that immerse themselves in the Finnish forests until we reach our base camp. Here we will find several completely wooden structures equipped with all services such as electricity, running water, bedrooms, wi-fi and a chef who will cook for the group. We will take advantage of the beautiful northern lights to observe and photograph wolves, bears, wolverines and if lucky even white-tailed sea eagles, golden eagles and other animals! It will be a full immersion from the best photography huts where we will carry out photographic sessions taking advantage of every minute of light in the afternoon and sunset, then waiting for the first light of dawn. We will bring with us food, water and a sleeping bag if you want to sleep in the few hours of night (the huts are equipped with small bathrooms and beds to rest). In fact, at this time of year the sun sets for only a few hours, giving us the opportunity to continue photographing for a very long time. The huts are extremely comfortable and inside them we find space to stand up, lie down and comfortable chairs for shooting. Once the photographic sessions are over we will return to base camp where we can rest, observe the photographs taken, recharge the equipment and obviously eat excellent hot meals.

The tour in detail

A photographic workshop on the borders of northern Europe in search of the most important large predators of this continent. With a private transfer we will enter the endless dirt roads that immerse themselves in the Finnish forests until we reach our base camp. The huts are extremely comfortable and inside them we find space to stand up, lie down and comfortable chairs for shooting. Once the photographic sessions are over we will return to base camp where we can rest, observe the photographs taken, recharge the equipment and obviously eat excellent hot meals.
On the borders of an important wolf pack's territory are our photography huts, used by the BBC and National Geographic due to the incredible possibility of observing the European wolf and the European brown bear, the wolverine, even at the same time. Hut photography is par excellence the most used technique to be able to photograph wild animals at close ranges without interfering or disturbing the fauna. The huts that we will use have been designed and built to guarantee maximum comfort during the photographic session and at the same time to optimize the sighting possibilities. with the use of particular strategies for the elimination of odors, acoustic and visual insulation. The huts are equipped with slits for shooting in total comfort and have a small bathroom and beds to rest. Inside the sheds we will also have the opportunity to use photographic heads which can be inserted directly into a pre-built accommodation. The large upper darkened windows will allow you to observe outside the shed in complete freedom while remaining invisible from the outside. In this way, in addition to photographs, each of us will be able to enjoy naturalistic spectacles just a few meters away.
