We welcome you to the authentic adventure of Manyeleti, where the essence of our journey will be wilderness, the freedom to explore and the magic of safaris. At Home Among Nature: Luxury Safari Tents and Lodges Surrounded by Nature You will stay in safari tents which, despite their name, offer unparalleled comfort. Private bathroom, four-poster bed, electricity and elegant African-style furnishings, all to guarantee you the right amount of relaxation and all the necessary comforts. Our four-star lodge will welcome you with a warm atmosphere, allowing you to experience the authentic essence of South Africa. Authentic Safaris: 12 Open Jeep Adventures Immerse yourself in exciting open jeep safaris, exploring the private reserve of Manyeleti. Here, you will be able to spot over 300 species of birds and more than 150 species of mammals, including the "Big Five" but also wild dogs and cheetahs! Each sighting will be unique and immersed in the wilderness, with the freedom to explore off-trail for authentic perspectives. Every day we will carry out two safari activities, morning and afternoon, interspersed with meals in the lodge and relaxation. Freedom Without Constraints: Off-Piste and Flexible Schedules Private reservation means freedom without restrictions. We will be able to move off-track to capture unique details. In this area we will be able to leave the beaten track with our vehicle to try to get the most out of every sighting. This is a great benefit as one of the main regulations in Africa is usually “don't leave the trails”. Electricity in the Room The safari tents we will use are equipped with electricity, offering you the comfort of charging all your equipment comfortably in your private area rather than in the common areas like in many African lodges. This will allow you to conveniently manage your batteries and have control of every detail. Hot Water 24/7 Hot water is not a given option when traveling in Africa. Obviously on this trip we won't have any thoughts about this. Whether you want to take a refreshing shower after an adventurous safari or simply wash your hands, hot water will be available when you need it, all day. Private and Spacious Bathroom The bathroom is more than a convenience, it is a ritual of luxury. Spacious and private, it offers enough space to move freely. Masonry floors and well-finished details give a touch of elegance, making the bathroom a personal oasis of relaxation. Canopy Bed and Mosquito Net Each tent in its minimal elegant furnishings features a comfortable canopy bed equipped with a large mosquito net. Day by day program

Day 1

Dopo il tuo volo per Johannesburg, ti incontrerai con il gruppo con il quale condividerai il volo domestico per raggiungere la riserva. Tutti i dettagli sui voli verranno condivisi durante le fasi di iscrizione. Una volta atterrati, un transfer vi accompagnerà fino al lodge dove vi aspetterà lo staff per sistemarvi nelle Safari Tents e per un pranzo veloce. Infatti, dopo pranzo cominceremo subito con le attività di safari, vivendo subito l’esperienza del Game Drive in jeep aperta. Il safari pomeridiano partirà nel primo pomeriggio e avrà rientro notturno. Seguirà poi una cena sotto le stelle e successivamente il pernotto.

Dal giorno 2 al giorno 7

Il programma prevede una full immersion di attività. Ogni giorno la sveglia suonerà prima dell’alba per prepararci al primo safari giornaliero. Una prima colazione rapida e subito in jeep per cominciare la nostra ricerca! Il safari proseguirà per circa 3/4 ore e prende uno stop a metà mattina per sgranchire le gambe e per bere un caffe. Durante il safari avremo a disposizione l’esperienza di una esperta guida certificala locale oltre alla presenza di un fotografo naturalista professionista esperto di fauna africana. Il rientro sarà a metà mattina e seguirà un’abbondante colazione e riposo fino a pranzo. Nelle ore libere, potrete riposare nella vostra tenda, osservare le foto scattate nella bellissima area comune o rilassarvi in piscina dove, a volte, arrivano anche degli elefanti a bere. Primo pomeriggio, pranzo leggero e partenza per il secondo safari giornaliero. Qui trascorreremo tutte le ore a disposizione alla ricerca della splendida fauna africana. Anche qui, al termine delle attività fotografiche, faremo uno stop nella savana per un aperitivo e per goderci momenti di relax in un paradiso terrestre, tra suoni e odori unici. Rientreremo poi lentamente al lodge, accompagnati dai fari della jeep e la torcia della nostra guida alla ricerca di qualche avvistamento notturno. Infine, una volta al lodge, ci godremo la serata sotto i famosi cieli stellati di questa area, nel silenzio della savana con la cucina del nostro chef.

Day 8

Sveglia prima dell’alba, colazione rapida e partenza per l’ultimo safari. Al rientro, dopo la solita colazione completa un transfer privato ci porterà all’aeroporto di Hoedspruit, da qui volo interno per Johannesburg. Saluti con il gruppo e da qui potrai poi prendere il tuo volo di rientro.

Sharon Vanadia

Born in Rome in 1994, she showed a strong sensitivity towards nature from a young age. Graduated in Biological Sciences and specialized in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management, she became a professional photographer. He leads nature workshops and tours around the world, combining his passion for biology with nature photography. With years of experience in the field, she is followed internationally for her work and dedication to nature conservation.

How to sign up?

Iscriversi sarà semplicissimo! Basterà seguire la procedura di prenotazione cliccando su “Prenota Ora”. Una volta inseriti i dati personali e completato il pagamento della caparra l’iscrizione sarà confermata. Riceverai poi una mail di conferma una volta che la procedura sarà completata.

What equipment will I need?

To best capture the details and essence of these fascinating animals, we recommend using reflex, mirrorless or bridge cameras, equipped with lenses between 200mm and 600mm. This range of focal lengths will allow you to obtain sharp images with correct proportions! We will mainly shoot from our jeep which we will use as a stable support to take still images. No tripod is necessary, rather we recommend using a Bean Bag (you can request more information from the organizers) During this trip you will have an expert professional photographer at your disposal who will assist you in optimizing the use of your photographic equipment. Our photographer will be there to offer you personalized advice and help you make the most of the potential of your camera and lenses. You will have the opportunity to learn advanced composition techniques, light control, camera settings and more.

What clothing will I need?

In this period, the temperature range is significant. We recommend dressing in layers to stay warm on cool mornings, with temperatures around 5-8°C. Technical clothing is not necessary; Light shirts, trousers and a heavy jacket are ideal for any drops in temperature. More details will be provided after registration.

What flight will I have to purchase?

To reach your final destination, you will need to take a flight to Johannesburg, followed by a domestic flight to Hoedspruit Airport, from here our transfer will collect you and transport you to the lodge (approximately 1 hour transfer). The domestic flight will be the same for all participants in the group and will be communicated after registration.

Terms and conditions

By booking via bank transfer to the organizers you accept the following clauses: 1. Since this is a pre-registration, the organizer will undertake to promptly communicate any possible change in the price of the tour, characterized by cost fluctuations. An annual price fluctuation of around 5% is highly probable. In relation to potential changes in the prices of ground services (for example changes influenced by fluctuating costs of electricity, fuel and more). 2. The price of the entire workshop will be paid by advance bank transfer or cash according to the procedures and deadlines established by the organizers. 3. In the event that the tour does not take place due to the organizer, the entire amount paid will be refunded. 4. In case of cancellation for personal reasons, the registration fee will be retained as a reimbursement of expenses. 5. In case of cancellation for personal reasons 60 days before departure, the entire balance of the tour will be required.
